I have a zyliss onethat I have had for years - fully moulded so there is no risk of the bottom popping out.The other day I saw a new zyliss one that had an attached plate for pushing the crushed garlic out which looked like a really good idea.They are not cheap but they do last very well.

Yes, only ever Zyliss. The Susi2 comes in medium and jumbo. Dont buy a stainless steel garlic press it makes the garlic bitter. The Zyliss can be used without taking the "paper" off the clove of garlic, just take any hard root end off, pop it in and away you go. You will be looking at the $38-$40 mark.

I love my tupperware garlic press.Easy to use, easy to clean.

Zyliss....don't need to peel garlic first.....excellent quality.....kitchenware shops sell them.Don't put in dishwasher...wash by hand.

I find I can chop garlic with a knife much faster than pressing it, which leaves half the clove in the press usually - then washing the press.... So I gave mine away.
