Turkish Delight question.

Recipe asks for a substantialamount of cornflour. Does anyone know if I can use WHEATEN cornflour as opposed to true cornflour (for dietry reasons).

dna187 I just googled it! I chose a recipe that didn't use gelatine as this is more authentic, but I will need a couple of free hours to make it - if you want quick & easy, look in a Edmonds cookbook.
Merry Christmas to you too!

any cornflour is fine, i think wheaten cornflour gives it a nicer texture though but isnt gluten free.make sure you stir it long enough, you can stir it for too long (comes out better) but you must not under do it!
