I've got a recipe for normal yoyo's, but how would I make the passionfruit middle??Would I just do normal butter filling and add passionfruit pulp or syrup to it?

Ok next question, the butter filling has custard powder in it, would I leave this out?

No custard powder. Normal plain icing i.e butter, icing sugar & passion fruit pulp.
