Fresh cream in chocolate truffles

I want to make some truffles which have fresh cream in them & the recipe says to keep in the frig once made. Does this mean the chocolates will only last as long as the cream which is only a few days?

yes, maybe a week, you can also try freezing them and pull out when needed in batches.

I substitute Baileys or Carolyn's for cream and they last ages as I figure that the liquor is creamy and has longevity thus so should the truffles but I do hide them in the fridge. I can't be bothered getting a few out of the freezer and choc dipping each time so I just do one big lot.

The cream does last much longer once made into truffles - I'd happily keep them for at least a couple of weeks in the fridge.
