I was given a wonderful bean salad recipe using dreied beans 3 or 4 bean mix plus lots of fresh vegies dressing used sugar and other things being the closest thing to Kentucky Freid bean salad recipe it was then jared and kept in fridge was a real long life recipe..I have almost turned the house upside down trying again to find the recipe..not a good look my house the right way up is bad enough :) upside down well need I really say anything :)Ta people

This is one I use.Not sure where it came from but it tastes good.Not sure how long it keeps though,gets eaten up quickly here.I wouldn't keep it in the fridge too long though, maybe 3-4 days.
2 cups cooked green beans 1 cup butter beans 1 cup kidney beans 1 finely chopped green capsicum 1 cup finely chopped celery 1/2 finely chopped onion 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup boiling water 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 cup oil 1cup white vinegar
METHOD:
Put beans, capsicum, celery & onion in a bowl. Dissolve sugar and water in pan then add salt, pepper, vinegar & oil. Pour over beans. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate.
