Hardish Ganache

I want to make a hardish ganache- suitable for making truffles. Would 100g choc to 100ml cream sound about right? If I'm adding an essence to flavour, should I be using slightly less cream?

I use 250ml cream to 325g chocolate and 1/4 cup flavouring of your choice.I have used whisky, brandy, rum and ameretto.All yummy.Add the flacouring after you have mixed the choc and cream tog.

They made them on telly yesterday - double the weight of chocolate to the cream.

Haha, I've already bought a couple for my truffle entry! (Lucky I don't like it for straight eating as much as the Greens and Black!!!):)
