I just listened to an interview with the creator of this on MoreFM.
A heartbreaking story :'(

l brought 3 of these books as xmas presents and there are some really lovely recipes and it only costs $20 and all the money goes to the Hospital and PWC pays for postage
l am going to buy one for me now as it is really nice and a good cause as well
One of the better cookbooks l have got this year

That's great to hear griffo!!!
I'm suppose to be on a self imposed cookbook diet ... lol ... but this one I just couldn't resist as Miss (nearly) 14 spent the 1st few days of her life in SCBO (Special Care Baby Unit - known affectionately as 'skibboo') so the cause was close to my heart.

Yes l know what you mean and there seems to be a heap for sale at this time of the year as well but this one had a wide range of recipes from so many different people

Today l read about another baby using that unit in Christchurch who had a 5% chance of survival and she is now going home after 9 weeks and the staff and specialists came and checked on her on their days off as well they are really dedicated so l am pleased to be able to help out l am going to order another 2 books to give as gifts
