Apricot chutney.....

Does anyone have a good apricot chutney recipe please.I did find a recipe on here (microwave) but it turned out very badly, don't know where I went wrong.......would like to stick to stove top cooking me thinks. :)

Apricot Chutney
Ingredients
3kg apricots
1kg onions
750g sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
1 teaspoon ground mace
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 cups malt vinegar

Method
Remove the stones and coarsely chop the apricots. Finely chop the onions. Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan and boil slowly for 1 hour, stirring often, especially towards the end of cooking time.
Pour in hot, clean jars and seal.

Apricot Chutney,

6lbs apricots, 2 &1/2 lbs onions,1 dessp c/salt,1 &3/4 lbs sugar,1 teasp peppercorns(tied in bag) 1teasp ground mace,ground cloves and curry powder.1/2 teasp cayenne(dont over do).

Cut up apricots ana onions.Put every thing else in pan and boil 1hour or till fruit is tender. I make this every year as we like it.
