Help a dad out here

plain ordinary muffins yeah i know.But wife is out and the little one wants me to bake some NOW and i have been through the recipe books and i am not ringing wife or she will kill me if i make a mess of her kitchen lol.I have looked on the www but all the ones i see have sour cream in them or fancy stuff i just want one with these ingredients that i have to work with are eggs flour sugar salt milk oil baking powder baking soda please help.

Do you wanna make sweet or savoury?

Savoury:
2 C grated Cheese½ Tsp Salt
1 ½ C Flour1 Tbsp Sugar
3 Tsp Baking Powder1 Egg
1 C MilkOnion, Bacon, Capsicum

1. Mix dry ingred.Add cheese then bacon and veges.
2. Fork egg and milk together and make a well in centre.
3. Add wet to dry until just combined.
4.Bake 180c til golden.

Ham also will work, or a bit of kernel corn, grated zucchini.

no no just a plain old muffin no sweet things no savoury things added just a plain boring muffin i no fancy frill cook i leave that to my wife lol.

Sounds like you wanting to make a cupcake.Try these:
200g Flour
115g Butter
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla essence
125ml Milk
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
165g Castor Sugar
2 Eggs
ALL WET INGRED MUST BE ROOM TEMPERATURE
Beat butter til very soft.Add sugar, beat til fluffy.Add eggs 1 at a time.Beat in vanilla.Add 1/2 the flour and 1/2 the milk - mix gently.Add rest of milk n flour till just combined.Place in muffin cases/pans and bake for 180c for 18 mins

If you don't have castor sugar don't stress, they just will be a bit heavier - but beat it very well.

Here is a recipe I am sure you will have ingred. for:
3 Cups High Grade Flour
3 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Salt
1 Can (340mls) Beer

Mix all together. Put in lined loaf tin.Sprinkle with cheese.Bake til golden.

Ha ha - it's ok, cooking cooks off the alcohol.The yeast in it helps the raising of the bread.

ya taking the mickey.I am not about to send my little girl off to school with baking for her to share with her class mates and for me to get dragged into see the teacher for spiking their food lol.

Different if rum truffles - but seriously, beer bread it totally kosher.
Anyway, a bit of booze during th day never hurt no one...did it?
