McDonalds hotcakes are pretty much the same as pikelets. Give the edmonds pikelet recipe a crack.

Go buy a carton of buttermilk - you will NEVER make pancakes without it again!Recipe is on the carton - just leave out the blueberries and lemon (if you don't like them).

I made pancakes for brekkie this morning for my birthday boy.Used the edmonds recipe but used quite a small pan (the one mr usually frys two eggs in) they were lovely...

If you go to the "cooking class 101" thread there is a great pancake batter there. The thicker the batter, the thicker your pancake.
