We are looking for some green (unripe) walnuts. We want to make some "Walnut Schnaps". Anyone up in Auckland or North Shore with a walnut tree? Also looking for someone who would sell us some fresh cows milk to make cheese with.

Hi.. I use green walnuts to make Pickled Walnuts - here they're ready early to mid December.. at which stage the hard shell hasn't yet begun to form.
I'm guessing you would need them at the same stage, so they'd be ready around that time..
You could also ask in the gardening threads.. good luck..

We just go for a drive, We have all the trees in our area sorted. Go for a drive in the country, you may be lucky.
