First time jam maker. HELP!!!!

Don't think my plum jam is going to set as there seems to be too much liquid. Can I turn my jam into a jam/jelly by adding gelatine or will I stuff it up completely?

no, dont use gelatine. a good squeeze of lemon juice will help. Plum jams can be notoriously runny.

Thank you. Did as suggested and think it will set *fingers crossed*.

Plum jam tends to set more as it cools rather than in the pan, so it may be fine once cooled. Good luck and well done for your first foray into jam making. If you want to make an apricot jam next, I have a fabulous recipe that is so so easy.
