Excess kiwifruit

Hey there, have heaps of kiwifruit, very ripe, what to do with it? >

Jam (Aunt Daisy)
Cut Kiwi frit in half, scoop out pulp. cover bottom of pan with water. Ad fruit pulp & boil till cooked. Add 3/4lb sugar to every 1lbof pulp. Boil till it sets when tested.

(2) 4&1/2lb fruit (pulped), same quanity of sugar, juice & grated rind of 8 oranges & 2 lemons. boil until it sets when tested.

If they are firm they can be stored in a container in the fridge very successfully , i find for a month or more.

I make kiwifruit jam, there's a wicked recipe for a kiwifruit cake that we have as a dessert. I make the kiwi fruit Jelly's (lollies) they keep for ages . I have also recently tried stewed kiwifruit and the flavour is amazing it is a cross between green goosberrys rhubarb. I made a kiwifruit crumble.

Kiwifruit chutney in the Edmonds book and if you don't like lots of sugar in stuff it only has 3/4c.
