chicken maryland

does anyone know what it is? Was thinking of re-creating Kelly's recipe from Masterchef, and it says you need a "chicken maryland" - I'm assuming it's a cut of chicken, but I don't know? Says to de-bone the chicken maryland. Any ideas?

"Maryland" used to be a way of cooking chicken, but has come to mean the cut used. It refers to the whole leg - thigh and drumstick - in one piece.

I always find
it amusing as in Aust they seem to call quite often call chicken legs 'lovely legs' - have even seen recipes saying say: - '4 lovely legs'. This was in Melbourne so don't know if its the same all over.

Brilliant, thanks Davidt4. Not sure I'm clever enough to debone it, but will give it a go!
