How long will an opened tin of pineapplekeep in container in fridge? Ivehad it there for few days was thinking of making cake and using it up.

didorothy, I have had opened pineapple that has been kept covered and refrigerated, then overlooked for several days towards the back of the refrigerator, go mouldy.
As you've "had it there for a few days", from my experience I suggest that you carefully check the pineapple both by smell and look - hopefully it will still smell as if freshly opened and hopefully there are no signs of mould, in which case IMO you should, today, either use or freeze that pineapple.

Man I love pineapple. You can add it to virtually any food savoury or sweet.
How long it lasts depends on how you used it. If you have put your fingers into the container to pick pieces out then it could have introduced bacteria.
