I would like it to be kind of like Ma Higgins cookies but more thicker like cookie time...
I dont mind looking up the recipes myself if I could only have a name for these delish things.

Do a search using "anytime" for the date posted, using the key word of "cookie time". There's a number of threads that pop up and you'll be the best judge as to which one you'd like to try :) You could also do a search for "Higgins" and possibly "chewy"

Try the famous "Neiman Marcus" cookie recipe. It's an urban legend that it's from the store but the cookies are fab and if you follow American cooking times, they will be softer

I've always thought that it is eggs or something like golden syrup or honey that seems to make bikkies chewy and more "dense".

for chewy cookies, you use strong flour (higher gluten content to develop some of the toughness). You can also increase the egg content while reducing the amount of butter/fat.
