Recipe for Thumbprint Cookies please?

Does anyone have this recipe? Its acookie, the top of which is pressed down part way through the baking, jam is put into the indent, and the cookies are baked a few more minutes. The one I remember had custard powder as part of the dry ingredients, and was slightly buttery, firm, rather than hard and crisp.
