I brought a second hand breadmaker about 6 weeks ago, I have had no problems with it until the last week or so. Now my bread doesn't rise like it should. Any ideas why not? ? Have not done anything different since I've been using it and can't work out what I'm doing wrong. Thanks

too cold these days- start of with lukewarm water. is you yeast still fresh? Always store in deepfreeze where it will keep forever, use frozen and pop the jar straight back in freezer

When I'm making bread in the machine, i also warm the flour in the microwave in the cold weather. That way I have luke warm water and luke warm flour. The bread defintely rises that way. cheers
