Can anyone help me out with a recipe for sugar paste/modelling icing? I've looked on the web but everybody seems to have different names/ingredients!

Mostly people dont bother making their own. Its for sale on here called flower making paste. Its really good and easy to work with. just dont let the air get at any unused pieces and use cooking spray to help with stickiness.
294553692 thats an auction number for the paste. There are others too.

#1. Specialised cake decorating shops usually sell it made up, or sell the ingredients to make it. Look in yellow pages for this.
If you are wanting to do really fineflower work.

#2 Ready to roll icing can be used by adding egg white and kremelta. This one is good for modelling and ok for flowers

I was interested it what you said about cooking spray, do you think that be ok to use in a mould. im using cornflour but still having a problem with sticking other that putting heaps in then there too much cornflower on the frangipani flower.
