I know you can do loys of things in them, but could I put a pork roast in there? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I want to cook a roast for one of the kids that has been away for a couple of months. They won't be home till early evening and on that same day I will be in town for most of it so thought if I get it all prepared in morning I will only need to put the veg in electric frypan when I get home.

yep but don't expect the crackling to be crunchy

Yes. It is the best way to cook roast pork. Always moist and tender. Just put the crackling under the grill if you want crunchy crackling.

Pork is lovely from the SC - it took me a while before I was brave enough to try using SC with no liquid but it definitely works. I stand the pork on thick slices of lemon and onion - lovely.
