Makes you wonder, doesnt it cloffie? If you have an easiyo maker, try the unsweetened Greek yogurt. Thats pretty good.

I have an easiyo but use the Hansellsclassic Greek yogurt, it is great. I strain it afterwards which makes it thicker and use instead of whipped cream.

It's all about what the marketing people think people will pay, not how much the product costs to produce. Their research shows that people who are concerned with how "natural" a product is, will be prepared to pay more for that product. Same applies to unbleached toilet paper. It is more expensive than the bleached stuff.

Sure does Charlie I have to watch carefully my sugars and fats as I am a type 2 diabetic have been for 10 years . I have been able to contol by diet alone with no medications by carefully reading labels and substituting yoghurt for a multitude of high sugar hugh fat foods so I use heaps of it!
