Stuffing

i would like to make beef olives, does anyone have a quick stuffing recipe i could make? thankyou

Edmonds recipe

2c breadcrumbs
1 parboiled onion, chopped finely
1tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sage & thyme
2TBSPs melted butter
Bind with a litle beaten egg or milk.

Hi Parmy, I just break up pieces of bread into small pieces, about four slices, add raw egg, finely chopped raw onion, salt, pepper to taste, and herbs out of my garden, e. g. finely chopped parsley, rosemary, basil, whatever I like at the time. Mix all of the ingredients together by hand. If the mixture is too dry, I add another raw egg. Make sure that everything is mixed thoroughly, in a ball shape, or for beef olives, just shape as desired. Hope this helps.

Gosh, have not had beef olives in years - they used to be a favourite as a child along with the gravy and mashed potato too of course!

All I do is put 3-4 pces bread in processer, pulse till crumbed all 1 onion and 1 TBSP mixed herbs pulse again, then add a couple of TBSP milk till it is sticky enough to roll...
