Where in Lower Hutt are the best cream doughnuts to be found ?

Hello there. Many many moons ago I lived in Lower hutt. I seem to remember a cake shop/cafe there which had award winning cakes. but cant remember what they were. this was at the Hutt Park. near to the trotting circut. hope this helps.

Not sure of a cafe/cake shop by the Hutt Park Trotting and have live the the Hutt for ages.Maybe you mean the Bakery at the Wainui road intersection before heding over the Wainui Hill

No Petal. it was asmall group of shops near the Hutt Park Hotel/Tavern. it was on Tv a while ago because the cakes the cafe made were outstanding.

good morning denise41 was the cake shop you are referring to near the butcher shop or not? a youngish guy worked and owned it then was really nice but long gone now have a great weekend all

Dorothy's Home Cookery in Moera. Owned by the Kubiack family Mother margaret and her son Len. that been gone for a few years now ?

Dorothy's is long gone. Best doughnuts are from the Waiwhetu bakery on Wainuiomata Rd. They also have a branch on the High St down by Central Markets.
