I would be grateful if someone may know where I can get one
I want the pot plus the basin that fits inside the pot.
Many thanks

I got a Scanpan one years ago from Moore Wilson's as I couldn't find one anywhere; that's only helpful if you are in the Wellington Region though. Have you tried the likes of Milly's Kitchen website? Mine wasn't cheap but I've used it a lot and I didn't have a lot of choice!

Very timely question for me! I have an elderly one about 40 years old and I gave my late mum's even older one to our daughter.
We have just moved into a brand new house with an induction cook top, so the old aluminium double boiler will not work.
Do you know if the Scanpan one you got from Moore Wilsons wildflower, will work on an induction hob?

I have tried, Millys, Briscoes,Kitchen shops, Stevens and Farmers to no avail.
Will give Moore Wilson a try

Second hand shops sometimes have them

Thanks, I may try the local Indian Shop. Have had a look on Trade Me, but not quite what I want. there is a scanpan one, but only the basin. I need the pot also that it fits into. I used a stainless steel bowl today over a pot of water. Worked fine, but I would still like a double boiler. Not too sure about aluminium tho. Thanks I will keep searching.

Check out scan pans looks like they can be used on induction cook tops.
