Anyone using one explain this please. I see in an instruction leaflet this statement. “After use there would be a little food left in the grinder head. This is normal. There may be a bit of black metal powder adhering to the food in the end. Pick them out. Do not eat them” Does this refer to first time use only? Is there any possibility there could be some in the sausages?

Yes, first time use. And the first bit of meat to go through, just toss that bit and carry on.

You could put some bread through it first before you mince any meat.
