Freezer burn

I just got some chicken thigh cutlets out of the freezer and they have some freezer burn, will they still come up ok crumbed or would it be better to bin them?

Only one way to find out. crumb them and eat them

If it's a tiny mount of burn. I'd eat them, but if it's real bad I would bin them :) Because they can taste horrid

Thanks, I'm in two minds about crumbling them if they could taste foul

You could always use them for stock rather than bin them.

FIL got gullaine-barre disease and we always wondered if it was from old food from the freezer.

That's an idea jwjmummy,
These have only been in the freezer for 4 and a half months mother goose, but yes I know some older folk who we have worried about how old things were in their freezer, particularly at the bottom of their chest freezer I'd say stuff could have been a few years old, and they thought it would be ok and were not happy it was binned lol
