Cocktail meatballs

I need a really tasty recipe for meatballs in a tasty sauce served with tooth picks as finger food We are sitting at a table so any suggestions for finger food many thanks for 8 people

if you google, you might find a nice one, pork mince would be. sorry I don't have a recipe that I can put my hand on

Pork Meat Balls

650g pork mince
1/2 red onion, finely diced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
To serve: choice of tomato sauce, bbq sauce, soy sauce or sweet chilli sauce
1.Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a tray with baking paper.
2.Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with clean wet hands.
3.Roll mixture into small balls and place onto tray.
4.Bake 30 - 40 minutes until golden.

This Sophie Gray recipe is a goodie.

Just roll then fairly small and make up extra sauce to serve as a dipping sauce

Devilled Meatballs

Serves 6-8

1 kg lean mince
1 egg
50 grms breadcrumbs
¼ cup milk
1 tsp salt
2 tsp mixed herbs
2 tbsp oil
½ cup finely chopped onion
¾ cup grated apple
½ cup chutney
1 ½ cups hot water
2 beef stock cubes
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornflour
3 tbsp water
Combine mince, egg, breadcrumbs. Milk. Salt and herbs and using wet hands form mixture into bite sized balls. Heat oil in a large shallow pan and fry balls until lightly browned. Remove from pan. Add the chopped onion to the pan and fry gently till soft, add grated apple, chutney, hot water and stock cubes (dissolved in water) brown sugar and soy sauce. Combine cornflour and water and add to the sauce to thicken it. Return meatballs to sauce and simmer for 15 mins. Serve with rice.
