Use my 2 cookers a lot, r/hobbs i have like pic use it a lot for silverside/corn beef, big cuts of meat, soup, deserts, and pavalova. I prefer my old ralta 25 yrs old for casseroles, smaller bits of beef or meat etc anyhing else find it dosent cook so hot so things don't dry out the same. IMO.You can often pick up older ones at op shops, give briscoes a ring in ur area they will know if sunbeam c/p still available new now or not. if its any help there is a group on f/b slow cookers for families its a group for everyone there is flatters, young mums, working mums, etc that come in and ask for help, and they always get it. Some good recipes to for todays slow cooker, its amazing what they all cook in this heat without turning the oven on lol .
