Like cream added to some soups and easier to do when making a big lot.

I'm sure someone very professional will come along soon and give you the correct answer.

For me - I make and freeze a lot of soups - and only add the cream after it's unfrozen and re-heated.

I might learn something new here!

I have done, when Ihave made too much for one meal. I can't remember having any problems once thawed.

I freeze soups which have cream in quite often, sometimes it may split upon thawing. If this happens, I just give it a whizz with my hand blender which takes care of the problem. Just defrosted some cream of cauli/brocolli soup and it defrosted fine, just needed a stir while reheating.

When you think about it . some people freeze cream & milk . so what's the difference? I believe that whipped cream can be frozen successfully ,. I've never done it though.
