I need to make a cake for Sunday but I won't have time to make it on Sunday. I want to ice it with almond and white icing but can I make it today and freeze it then ice it tomorrow? ?
Also does anyone have a good recipe for a plain vanilla cake? ?

Sounds like some lovely cakes there. If you bake it today, not freeze it just glad wrap on a plate when cool and then unwrap and ice on sunday should be fine. Goodluck
