Already made Allison Holst's milk powder truffle and date balls last night and they are divine. Anyone got some more recipe for truffles ,specially budget friendly ones. Thanks.

moparpete, try doing a search here on the Recipes MB using truffles as the Keyword and Last year as the Date posted option. You'll find that there are some earlier threads that will give you a choice of truffle recipes to try. :-))

I have just made truffles with 2 pkts chocolate thin biscuits, a recipe contributed here last year. I am sure you will find it, it was easy, & I didn't dip them into chocolate, just coconut & so yummy straight out my freezer!
