I just want the recipe, not how to make a dressed doll from it. My Dear late MIL used to make one - plain top, and the base had a handful of sultanas added and a spice. The two cakes were joined with a butter icing. I can't find the recipe anywhere.

Here it is: sorry its in imperial measurements.
4 eggs
1tsp baking powder
1½ cups flour
¼ lb butter (125g)
½ cup sugar.
Cream butter and sugar, add beaten eggs, flour and BP. Mix
Take out enough mixture for 2 sponges, then add to what is left 1 cup mixed fruit. (Divide mix into 3)
When baked place the 3 cakes together with the following mixture. - 1 good Tbsp butter, ½lb (250g) Icing sugar, juice of a good sized lemon. Can be iced on top if desired.
Aunt Daisy Cookbook. No temp given but would presume 180C for approx 15-20mins.
