Westinghouse oven temperatures

I have a new oven the Westinghouse WVE916 and am struggling to work out which are the best functions to use for which type of cooking. Tonight I tried kumara chips on Function 3 and they were soggy. My pastry was undercooked too till I changed to Function 5. Has anyone experience with this oven that could set me in the right direction. Thank you!
