I saw a sign in one supermarket saying that there was a shortage of them. However did buy some in Pak n Save in Northlands yesterday

Buy the rings or pieces and give it/them a quick blitz in a food processor or blender etc. Should give a similar texture to the crushed stuff.

shelves almost bare in NW last week. We prefer Dole brand so guessed it must be due to a shortage,
