Best stir-fry sauce

muffin2, Aug 29, 12:31am
I usaually make up a sauce of 50% soy sauce and 50% Sweet Chilli sauce with 1 finely chopped garlic clove and add that to my stir fry for the last couple of mins to heat through - but I'm getting a bit bored with it

anyone got a good stir-fry sauce that they make? (not a shop bought one!)

thanks in advance

Try Kecap Manis (sweet soy) instead of the normal soy.

Got this from here, its good.
Stirfry Sauce. Chicken or Beef.
1 tblsp soy sauce,1 tsp honey OR 1/2 tablesp br sugar, 1/4 cup boiling water, chicken stock cube. 1/4 cup cold water heaped teasp cornflour.
Dissolve chicken stock cube in1/4 cup of boiling water, add sugar soy sauce, mix cold water with cornflour together add to the stock mix.
Put chicken back in when vegs done add sauce stir well and cook 2-3 mins. If a bit thick add more boiling water till you get enough sauce you want, cook till it thickens serve immeadiatly over rice or noodles.
Can use beef stock cube if cooking beef instead of chicken. Sometimes i add chilli sauce depends whats cooking.
