Jam making

Sorry if it's a dumb question. If I double the amount of strawberries do I double the boiling time.

no. but it may take longer to get it to setting level (test).
I don't time most of my jam, I pop strawberries into the pot (preserving pan) with a ¼ cup water so they don't stick to the bottom, boil until soft then add sugar and lemon juice and keep at a rolling boil, not a simmer it needs to be faster, until mixture reaches setting point (either by testing or using a jam thermometer). You don't need the water but I add it as have in the past had fruit catch.
