Need help. I am in the middle of making a carrot cake, i bought spreadable cream cheese, but is that right? ? ? For lemon icing? ? ?

The key word is "SPREADABLE" can i use this for the icing or do i need normal cream cheese... . . if such a thing lol i'm new at this

Ive used spreadable stuff before, the icing is definitely softer but set it in the fridge and its ok, if thats all ya have :)
