Where to buy dried shrimp

I'm making a traditional thai salad and need dried shrimp (can you buy it from the supermarket) im using swede instead of green papaya, which is also hard to find.Thanks

Any Chinese or Thai foodmarket will have them.Look for plump pink shrimps, not too broken up or discoloured.I keep mine in the freezer.

I've never thought about using raw swede instead of papaya - I use carrot mainly.

Definitely Asian Fruit and Veg/Foodmarket. you may be lucky to get your green papaya also
