Just made some potato cakes from left over mashed spud, and threw in some salami scraps I had in the freezer. Now I have too many potato cakes and would like to freeze some, but CAN'T because the salami would've been frozen, cooked and frozen again, then reheated at a later date. Correct! TIA

I have done this before, they will be OK, butas as lx4000 says, don't leave them in the freezer too long.

go for it - salami full of salt etc so will freeze fine
