Hi does anyone have a recipe for salmon mousse or any other tasty savory dish that can be made to a mousse like consistency for elderly relative that can't eat food unless pretty smooth. TIA

I do have one, although it makes quite a large amount, to fit a fish shaped tin.

Does it have to be an actual mousse recipe! When I was caring for my very elderly mum, I used to use a stick blender, and addedmore liquid to some foodsto make them an easier consistency for her to eat. With salmon, I would cook cook the salmon, (generally in a little butter and olive oil), and if it was to be served cold, I would add seasoning, and some homemade dill mayonnaise. The stick blender, plus resting time in the fridge,did achieve a mousse-like texture with thesalmon.
