Chocolate creme with spiced pineapple salsa

Did this recipe have crushed gingernuts at the bottom of glass before you put in the chocolate sauce!

highfences, I was busy doing something else in the early part of when that dessert was being made and only saw the finishing stages however according to the recipe there are no gingernuts.If you really wanted to include the ginger flavour I guess there's no reason why you couldn't include crushed gingernuts, but unless you made a crust with gingernuts and butter, I think the crushed gingernuts would be absorbed into the chocolate mixture and would spoil the smooth creaminess of the chocolate 'custard'.IMO the dessert as is, would be a lovely combo' of that Chocolate Creme and the spiciness and texture of the Pineapple Salsa.
