linster, I have some recipes that actually have oatbran in them so would you like them, or is it that only want to modify favourite recipes that you already have and use! :-))

SAme as any bran muffin recipe! Alison Holst has a good one. Just experiment. I add mashed banana to my bran muffins. They are yum! Recipe uses lots of golden syrup. A very sloppymixture and not overmixed.I think her recipe uses a whole cup of standard bran.

OAT-BRAN APPLE MUFFINS Great for the cholesterol-conscious.The soluble fibre from the rolled oats and the oat bran is said to be helpful in keeping down cholesterol.If you are being cholesterol-conscious be sure to use margarine instead of butter and use only the egg white, not the yolk.
1 cup apple sauce 50g margarine, melted 1 egg ½ cup sugar ½ tsp five-spice powder 1 tsp baking powder 1 cup each offlourandoat bran ¾ cup rolled oats
Lightly oil a muffin tin and preheat the oven to 200ºC. This recipe makes 12 muffins. Put the first 5 ingredients into a bowl and mix well.Add the remaining ingredients and blend until just mixed. Two-thirds fill the muffin tins and bake for 10-15 minutes.
