wholemeal flour is what you use for making brown bread. I tend to use white flour and add in the bran flakes (soft, called baking bran) myself. You can use rye flour as well.

Thank you so much for this recipe. After going low carb for about a year and a half, with great retlsus? concerning my weight and health, one of the high carb foods that I do miss is bread. I am glad that I can now use a low carb alternative, which I can make myself, instead of that artificial garbage that is advertised as low carb bread.
