Just a heads up for Hamiltonians. Ballarat apples available at Heaphy Terrace. $5.99 got me enough for 4 family sized apple pies. They also have black boy peaches. I so love tastes from the past. :)

there is an orchard in cambridge that has ballarat & other heritage varities for real cheap!It's worth a drive out to get a heap and do a big cookup :)

No problem!John also sells his P grade for real cheap, these are great for cooking with.They usually have skin blemishes but are find once peeled

I have two trees of these in Ashburton - both laden this year - great apples.
