Making Soy yogurt

Hi, has anyone tried to make soy yogurt! I have an easi yo which I would like to use if possible. Any recipes that have worked I would love to try. Thanks

Ive tried it a few times. I find the results come out soy bean oil tasting and a bit rancid tasting.

I'm of the same opinion of ferita when I used the esiyo type mix.

But I found that you can buy a pot of the already made soy yoghurt from the supermarket and put about 1/2 cup in the esiyo jar and top up with warm soy milk and then shake to mix.

Put this in the esiyo machine thing and leave overnight and you can have a pot of soy yoghurt the next day.

You can do this with plain yoghurt to and just add milk powder and water to the small amount of youghurt and it grows.you then can take 1/2 cup of that yoghurt and repeat.

Great and much cheaper than buy the packets of mixes etc. You can flavour accordingly.

If you use the Greek style Esiyo yoghurt as a starter and use soy milk to top it up you can get a thick yoghurt. The first bat ch is not dairy free but from then on it is.
