Altering Muffin Recipe

I intend making these muffins:http://www.tararua.net.nz/recipes/Spinach-and-Feta-Muffins!r=19&i=2

The recipe states they are nice with spring onion and sundried tomatoes.

Can I just add, say 1 x spring onion & 4 (!) x sundried tomatoes and not have to worry about altering any other part of the recipe!

Also, it says "600g Edmonds High Grade Flour (5 cups is 625g so take a little out if you do not have scales)".I don't have scales! How much is a "little"!Help me - I know I'm pathetic!

If it was me I would add the spring onion and sun dried tomatoes and not change anything else.I would also add 5 cups of flour and not worry about the 25gms, then if the mix looked a little dry I would add another slop of milk at the end.
I find muffins to be very forgiving.

if you want to be precise then you would take out 1/5th of a cup as I googled it and 1 cup of flour = 125gms

use 4 3/4 cups of flour , Maybe a little less spring onion and a few more sun dried tomatoes in my opinion !

pS - don't overmix your muffin mix !
