Keeping unsweetened black currant juice

I've just picked a couple of bowls of black currants and was thinking about making juice.Barkers make an unsweetened black currant juice which I have enjoyed in the past,Other than freezing it how would you make an unsweetened juice that won't go off!Has anyone done it successfully.I'm a little short on freezer space.

I pick guava's when in season and boil them up and strain them and freeze it in 3 cup sizes. Then during the year, I take one out and boil it up, add sugar and viola, fresh guava jelly. You could do the same with the black currant juice no doubt.

But what would you do if the freezer (upright one) is chocker!Don't want jam.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realise. You could ask the neighbour for room in theirs. Mine is only ever half full, lots of room.

Have a very old recipe for a Blackcurrant syrup but it has a bit of sugar in it, kids used to drink it with cold/hot water in it, used to bottle it in beer bottles and cap to seal or any bottle with a good screw cap and that worked.
