I need to use some strawberries up, does anyone have a recipe for a dessert sauce to use over ice cream etc!

There are heaps of threads with regard to strawberries so you may be able to find what you want in there.In the search, just put strawberry sauce in as the keyword and last year.

Just blitz the strawberries up and add a dash of cointreau or sweet liquor.Then drizzle over icecream.You could add a small amount of icing sugar to the blitzed mixture depending on sweet tastes but natural is always nicer.

make a sugar syrup using 1 cup of sugar to one cup of water bring to boil turn heat down then stir till sugar dissolved . add sliced strawberries. simmer till strawberries soften . mix one level tablespoon of cornflour into half a cup of water add to simmering strawberries a little at a time stirring till lightly thickened . take off heat then put into hot jars . put lids on. . keeps well in fridge when cold
