I am cooking a turkey tomorrow for the first time tomorrow. I have bought some roasting bags but have never used them before. So my question is do I just put the turkey(thats in the bag) straight in the roasting dish in the oven or is there something else I need to do!
I know I need put flour and any seasonings I want in.

Is the turkey in its own oven bag!If so, just pop it in a roasting dish and into the oven.If not, just season and pop into an oven bag and do the same thing.I've heard that people pop seasoned butter between the skin and the breast meat as it can dry out.Oven bags do help though.
