Does pastry freeze okay?

I love Annabel Langbein's Strawberry Cloud Cake, but after 'issues' with the base last year, this year have decided to put the filling into pastry cases. But it all needs to be frozen before serving.
Do you think the pastry will freeze and defrost okay!

BUT IMO agave1 is not asking about the freezing and defrosting of uncooked pastry, she is really asking about the outcome of freezing and defrosting the pastry once it is cooked and filled with the Strawberry Cloud mixture - is that correct agave1!:-))

You buy pies that have cooked pastry.

yes, cooked pastry. frozen then defrosted.
but you're right - I guess it is possible to buy frozen pies.I wonder if they are cooked first.

agave1, what kind of pastry are you thinking of using! presumably shortcrust!
I don't buy frozen pies however I understand that some are pies are already cooked and can be eaten once thawed without any heating (e.g. fruit and lemon meringue pies) while other pies require either being heated or actually being cooked.:-))

yeah, just regular sweet-short pastry.
